StudySensei operates as a FERPA- and COPPA-compliant service. We collect the minimum data required to deliver immersive AI learning experiences, including account details, learning preferences, and optional contextual media. Audio and image inputs are processed to enrich lessons and are automatically deleted after 30 days unless a school or parent requests a shorter retention window.

We use aggregated analytics to improve StudySensei, detect abuse, and ensure equitable experiences. We may share limited data with vetted subprocessors that meet or exceed our security standards. No personal data is monetized or shared with advertisers.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Schools can manage student accounts centrally. Parents and learners can reach our privacy team directly at privacy@studysensei.app. We notify partners of updates and provide a changelog for transparency.
